To whom it may concern,

This is to notify you that there will be a public meeting of the Rice Township Zoning Board on March 3rd, 2026, at 7P.M. to be held at the township house 142 CR119 Fremont. The purpose of the meeting is to address the following applications filed by Appollo Trailer Park.

Application #1 is to rezone the following property from agricultural to R3. 20.02 acres known as parcel #31-36-00-0019-03 located on the west side of 1301 SR523 and 17.43 acres known as parcel #31-36-00-0004-00 located on the east side of 1301 SR 523.

Application #2 is to allow a special use permit for the same two properties.

This is to allow the expansion of the Apollo Trailer park by a total of 175 units.

There will be an opportunity for public comment with a five-minute time limit per person.

If you have any questions or concerns that you wish to be brought up, you are welcome to send them to me at tigerdad1954@gmail.com. I will only take written questions so that I don’t make a mistake in what is being sought. I will try to get answers ready ahead of time in the interest of saving time at the meeting.

Preliminary have been submitted and will be available for viewing at the meeting, but due to the cost we will not be providing sets to hand out.
